European Conference on the Diffusion of Genomic Medicine (EcoGenomics) May 28, 2020 - Dijon, France

The Health Economics Team of the Economics Laboratory of Dijon organize the "European Conference on the Diffusion of Genomic Medicine: Health Economics & Policy" on May 28th and 29th, 2020, in Dijon.This team is part of the H2020 project "Solve-RD - Solving the unsolved rare diseases" funded by the European Commission (http://solve-rd.eu/). The purpose of this project is to improve the diagnosis of patients with rare diseases through the development of genomic medicine. It is part of the task force which targets the translation of research to the patient. The contribution of the team is to query the methodological challenges of evaluating and measuring the impact of genomic medicine.

This two-day conference will alternate plenary sessions and parallel thematic sessions and will bring together researchers in the human sciences, mainly in health economics, but also researchers from other disciplines. It will contribute to the development of research in genomic medicine concerning its evaluation, its dissemination and the public policies accompanying this new patient care.

It has been decided to include this conference in the University of Burgundy's sustainable development policy by making it the first eco-friendly conference of the university.
